100 Things You Might Not Know About Me

Okay… here’s 100 things about me, you may not have known!

1. I drive a 2000 Chevy Impala, which every fall becomes a mobile Auburn football fan
2. Every Saturday (when there’s a home game) it gets covered in magnetic stickers.
3. I lived with my parents until I was 24 years old.
4. Then I made the big step and bought a house.
5. I only rented an apartment for four months, when I was in college at Auburn
6. The rest of the time, I was in University Housing.
7. The biggest regret of my life is not graduating from Auburn.
8. I keep saying I’ll go back and get my masters there.
9. Yeah right.
10. I graduated from Kennesaw State University in 1998.
11. I majored in Marketing in college. Interestingly enough my job has nothing to do with marketing.
12. Every time I fly, during takeoff the song “Leavin’ on a Jet Plane” gets stuck in my mind.
13. Since becoming an adult, I have flown more since 9/11 than I had before 9/11.
14. I used to fly all the time as a kid.
15. I remember flying on Ozark Airlines, Western Airlines, and various other companies that no longer exist.
16. Five years ago, I would have told you I prefer flying Delta over AirTran.
17. Now, it’s the exact opposite, AirTran is way better than Delta.
18. Although, I still think they should have kept the ValuJet name.
19. They did keep the same local number. 770-994-8258, (what does 8258 spell?)
20. I have never traveled abroad.
21. Not even Canada or Mexico.
22. I have visited, or travelled through, most of the lower 48 United States
23. I can’t swim
24. My favorite color is green
25. My favorite TV show is NYPD Blue.
26. I prefer movies and TV to music.
27. I prefer my radio to be either all talk or all music. No in betweens.
28. I like classic rock mostly, but will listen to almost anything with a guitar in it.
29. I hate rap and hip hop and dislike country music.
30. I like it cold. Very cold. All the time.
31. I prefer Peanut Butter M&M’s over all others.
32. I used to be insanely jealous in my relationships. I’m much less so now.
33. I also used to be tightly wound, now I’m more laid back.
34. I love most sports, especially football and hockey
35. I hate basketball and tennis
36. I don’t understand the rules.
37. I love New Orleans, it’s my favorite town
38. It’s close to Biloxi, the only place I’ve gambled and made money
39. I’ve lost over $500 in Vegas over my entire lifetime.
40. Doesn’t seem like much… but I’ve only been twice.
41. Once with my parents
42. I am an only child…. I always wanted a sibling though.
43. I’m terrible at remembering people’s names, birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
44. I am a procrastinator, but give me a deadline and I’ll get it done.
45. I am a registered Republican, but have voted Democrat before
46. I’ve never voted for a Democratic Presidential candidate
47. …and won’t didn’t in 2004 either.
48. I have never held, or shot, a gun.
49. I’ve found the best cure for a impending hangover is Waffle House at 2 am.
50. I try not to eat at Waffle House at other times.
51. My favorite quick-service restaurant is Moe’s Southwest Grill
52. I call their queso dip, liquid cocaine. It’s that addictive.
53. I only read the news when I’m on the road.
54. I spend 70%-80% of my working time on the road.
55. I record all of my favorite shows on TiVO
56. My alcoholic drink of choice is a seven and seven Jack and Coke.
57. For some reason, which will always remain a mystery to me (but apparently not some of my college drinking buddies), I can no longer shoot tequila.
58. Even the smell of it makes me sick.
59. Ironically, I can still drink Margaritas.
60. As long as they don’t have Cuervo Gold in them
61. My soft drink of choice is Diet Coke… or Dr. Pepper.
62. But not Mr. Pibb.
63. My favorite board game is Trivial Pursuit, the 80’s Edition.
64. Followed closely by Monopoly.
65. I once played a single game of Monopoly for six hours.
66. I didn’t win.
67. I have never broken a bone.
68. I’d rather have a cat than a dog.
69. I hate small “yap” dogs….
70. Constant barking irritates me.
71. Repetitive noises often irritate me.
72. I have a problem with being places on time…
73. …unless it’s at the airport.
74. I wear contacts and have since I was in the 8th grade.
75. My house was built on a Civil War Battlefield.
76. No, there’s no ghosts, but I have found bullets and stuff in my backyard
77. I once stayed at the World Trade Center Marriott Hotel (WTC #3), which stood in the shadows of Towers 1 & 2.
78. I have a picture, dated, which shows me standing at the top of the WTC on 9/10/2000, 366 days prior to 9/11.
79. I almost didn’t take that picture, thinking I’d come back some day…
80. Kinda spooky, don’t you think?
81. I love the summer rain.
82. I have never been arrested.
83. I don’t believe NASCAR is a sport. Anyone can step on a gas pedal and drive around in circles for hours on end. I can’t understand why millions of people watch 30-40 cars drive around a circle every Sunday. Would someone please explain this to me?
84. I love women with long hair.
85. I used to read a lot…. I have boxes full of books
86. Now I watch TV and movies alot…. what happened?
87. I have an odd sense of humor.
88. I was DJ on a local radio station in college.
89. I had the morning show.
90. We repeatedly got in trouble with station management
91. God, that was fun.
92. I don’t understand kids these days…. what does “Hella cool” mean anyway?
93. I never thought I’d hear myself say “I don’t understand kids these days…”
94. I have over 300 CD’s and over 200 DVD’s
95. I collect beer steins and shot glasses
96. My house also collects dust.
97. I used to have a nice little side business selling stuff on eBay.
98. Now I’ve run out of stuff that can be shipped to sell
99. I have my email set to check for new mail every five minutes
100. Is that a little too obsessive?
