100 Things You Might Not Know About Me
Okay… here’s 100 things about me, you may not have known!
- I drive a 2000 Chevy Impala, which every fall becomes a mobile Auburn football fan
- Every Saturday (when there’s a home game) it gets covered in magnetic stickers.
- I lived with my parents until I was 24 years old.
- Then I made the big step and bought a house.
- I only rented an apartment for four months, when I was in college at Auburn
- The rest of the time, I was in University Housing.
- The biggest regret of my life is not graduating from Auburn.
- I keep saying I’ll go back and get my masters there.
- Yeah right.
- I graduated from Kennesaw State University in 1998.
- I majored in Marketing in college. Interestingly enough my job has nothing to do with marketing.
- Every time I fly, during takeoff the song “Leavin’ on a Jet Plane” gets stuck in my mind.
- Since becoming an adult, I have flown more since 9/11 than I had before 9/11.
- I used to fly all the time as a kid.
- I remember flying on Ozark Airlines, Western Airlines, and various other companies that no longer exist.
- Five years ago, I would have told you I prefer flying Delta over AirTran.
- Now, it’s the exact opposite, AirTran is way better than Delta.
- Although, I still think they should have kept the ValuJet name.
- They did keep the same local number. 770-994-8258, (what does 8258 spell?)
- I have never traveled abroad.
- Not even Canada or Mexico.
- I have visited, or travelled through, most of the lower 48 United States
- I can’t swim
- My favorite color is green
- My favorite TV show is NYPD Blue.
- I prefer movies and TV to music.
- I prefer my radio to be either all talk or all music. No in betweens.
- I like classic rock mostly, but will listen to almost anything with a guitar in it.
- I hate rap and hip hop and dislike country music.
- I like it cold. Very cold. All the time.
- I prefer Peanut Butter M&M’s over all others.
- I used to be insanely jealous in my relationships. I’m much less so now.
- I also used to be tightly wound, now I’m more laid back.
- I love most sports, especially football and hockey
- I hate basketball and tennis
- I don’t understand the rules.
- I love New Orleans, it’s my favorite town
- It’s close to Biloxi, the only place I’ve gambled and made money
- I’ve lost over $500 in Vegas over my entire lifetime.
- Doesn’t seem like much… but I’ve only been twice.
- Once with my parents
- I am an only child…. I always wanted a sibling though.
- I’m terrible at remembering people’s names, birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
- I am a procrastinator, but give me a deadline and I’ll get it done.
- I am a registered Republican, but have voted Democrat before
- I’ve never voted for a Democratic Presidential candidate
- …and
won’tdidn’t in 2004 either. - I have never held, or shot, a gun.
- I’ve found the best cure for a impending hangover is Waffle House at 2 am.
- I try not to eat at Waffle House at other times.
- My favorite quick-service restaurant is Moe’s Southwest Grill
- I call their queso dip, liquid cocaine. It’s that addictive.
- I only read the news when I’m on the road.
- I spend 70%-80% of my working time on the road.
- I record all of my favorite shows on TiVO
- My alcoholic drink of choice is a
seven and sevenJack and Coke. - For some reason, which will always remain a mystery to me (but apparently not some of my college drinking buddies), I can no longer shoot tequila.
- Even the smell of it makes me sick.
- Ironically, I can still drink Margaritas.
- As long as they don’t have Cuervo Gold in them
- My soft drink of choice is Diet Coke… or Dr. Pepper.
- But not Mr. Pibb.
- My favorite board game is Trivial Pursuit, the 80’s Edition.
- Followed closely by Monopoly.
- I once played a single game of Monopoly for six hours.
- I didn’t win.
- I have never broken a bone.
- I’d rather have a cat than a dog.
- I hate small “yap” dogs….
- Constant barking irritates me.
- Repetitive noises often irritate me.
- I have a problem with being places on time…
- …unless it’s at the airport.
- I wear contacts and have since I was in the 8th grade.
- My house was built on a Civil War Battlefield.
- No, there’s no ghosts, but I have found bullets and stuff in my backyard
- I once stayed at the World Trade Center Marriott Hotel (WTC #3), which stood in the shadows of Towers 1 & 2.
- I have a picture, dated, which shows me standing at the top of the WTC on 9/10/2000, 366 days prior to 9/11.
- I almost didn’t take that picture, thinking I’d come back some day…
- Kinda spooky, don’t you think?
- I love the summer rain.
- I have never been arrested.
- I don’t believe NASCAR is a sport. Anyone can step on a gas pedal and drive around in circles for hours on end. I can’t understand why millions of people watch 30-40 cars drive around a circle every Sunday. Would someone please explain this to me?
- I love women with long hair.
- I used to read a lot…. I have boxes full of books
- Now I watch TV and movies alot…. what happened?
- I have an odd sense of humor.
- I was DJ on a local radio station in college.
- I had the morning show.
- We repeatedly got in trouble with station management
- God, that was fun.
- I don’t understand kids these days…. what does “Hella cool” mean anyway?
- I never thought I’d hear myself say “I don’t understand kids these days…”
- I have over 300 CD’s and over 200 DVD’s
- I collect beer steins and shot glasses
- My house also collects dust.
- I used to have a nice little side business selling stuff on eBay.
- Now I’ve run out of stuff that can be shipped to sell
- I have my email set to check for new mail every five minutes
- Is that a little too obsessive?
