I recently discovered Mozilla FireFox as an alternative to Microsoft Internet Explorer. Best thing about it? It’s not vulnerable to the viruses and malware that Internet Explorer is.
So, to stem the tide of help desk calls we get at work, I’m making Firefox the default browser on all my customer’s desktops. If we can’t get them to stop surfing porn sites, at least we can stop the malware and the drain on our helpdesk resources spent fixing all these viruses the stores manage to download. Next on my agenda is to make it the default for all customer desktops that ship from our facility. That would include computers going to places like KFC, Moe’s Southwest Grill, Taco Bell, Church’s, and Popeye’s, etc.
I’ve been running Firefox on my laptop for about three weeks now with no problems. I’ve even installed a few extensions and love it even more. If you haven’t tried it, you need to. Click on the get Firefox logo on the right side of the screen or click here.
