Hey! Clear Channel Execs!

It takes a lot to wake me up in the morning, which is why I had my alarm clock set to Asshat in the Morning on 105.3. Imagine my surprise this morning when instead, I hear Jose y Maria singing in Espanol. I thought maybe I had switched the station in my sleep or something…. so, I moved the dial until I heard something in English and went back to sleep.

Then I woke up an hour later, realizing I’m now late getting ready for work. So, I quickly get ready and go hop in the van and, remembering what I heard earlier, change the station to 105.3… and sure enough… they still no Hablo Ingles.

Now, Clear Channel… just because I said MJ in the morning sucks, it didn’t mean you needed to change your format to something I’d never listen to… you just needed to find a better morning radio host. I swear, Clear Channel is doing everything in their power to make me listen to their competition. I stopped listening to 96 Rock after they fired The Regular Guys, I stopped regularly listening to 105.3 when they switched the 80’s channel to Real Radio (then I only listened to The Kimmer). Now? Well, I guess I’m listening to DaveFM, despite the fact the DJ’s suck.

So, Clear Channel… you got your wish. I no longer listen to any of your stations when I’m in the Atlanta market, but God knows, next you’ll buy DaveFM and make it a French-Speaking station or something godawful like that.
