Well, faithful readers, today is it… today is O-Day. What’s O-Day you ask? Office Day. I haven’t been there in five weeks. I hear it’s completely different. I’ve been moved out of my office to some far remote corner upstairs. Maybe no one will remember me. That could be fun.
Going to the office has its good points and bad. I like seeing some of my fellow co-workers when I do go to the office, because it’s a lonely road out there sometimes, especially when I don’t know the corporate trainers from the restaurant group. Like last week, I knew both corporate trainers, and even attended Junior high school with one of them. Ain’t that a trip?
So back to the office… I hate going into the office because it’s not as fun as being on the road, doing the training thing…. mostly because they find work for us to do when we’re in the office. Not that I mind doing it… I just like the freedom of doing whatever I want on the road.
I think I’m going to shock everyone and actually get to work somewhat early today… It’s good to have a flaxible schedule. I usually arrive around 9:30… I’m thinking today I’ll be in around 9. That might scare them. What would really scare them is if someday I show up at 8:30, when the office opens.
Well, that’s enough for now…. there will be no reports from the road this week, as I’ll actually be in town. So, expect to see a lot of changes and updates to the site over the course of the week.
