Okay…. WTF?
How can Auburn be ranked fourth in the coaches poll and the BCS when both MIAMI and OKLAHOMA haven’t played a difficult schedule?
Let’s take a look at this…
USC is rightly where they belong… in the number one slight, despite nearly losing a couple of games to unranked teams…
Oklahoma hasn’t faced a ranked opponent all season, except for Texas, which they barely won 12-0.
Miami? They’ve only played 5 games, less than anyone else in the top five… and the ONLY two ranked teams they played were Florida State (top ten at the time), and Louisville (number 17)… and they just BARELY beat both of those teams… in fact, Louisville was beating Miami at the half!
Auburn - They’ve played 7 games…. still undefeated, and played TWO top ten teams (LSU and Tennessee)…. I think Auburn rightly deserves to be number two… as their schedule and results more closely match USC’s than Oklahoma or Miami….
So, I ask again ESPN/USA/Coaches… .WTF? At least the AP poll has Auburn ranked third….
