Do you have the bunny?
Okay boys and girls… The Super Bowl is coming up quickly, and it’s time to get ready to watch the commericals…. because who the fuck cares if the Pats or the Eagles win? I sure as hell don’t.
First up…. The Energizer bunny…. still going…. since 1989.
This is one of the longest running ad campaigns I can remember…. I realize it’s not a Super Bowl Commerical… those will come later this week, but I recently saw an article about the bunny in USA Today…
I think the most memorable commerical was when the bunny actually escaped the original “set” where all the battery operated toys had already “died”. I remember laughing when the bunny spun around, twirled his drumsticks, and went rolling off the set. What Energizer Bunny commerical do you think was the best? About the bunny:
A team of five operates the remote-control device created by Industrial Light & Magic.
The bunny runs on 64 Energizer AA Batteries housed in the drum.The bunny is about 2 feet tall, weighs 30 pounds, has blue flip-flops, wayfaring sunglasses and drum.
There are two fully-functional bunnies, and one bunny for posing.
