We don’t need no education…
Wow — Two strikes in two days…. really gives me happy thoughts about our education system. It seems schools are more and more intent on combining religion with education. I’m more of the of “separation of church and state” kinda guy….
Yesterday, we learned that a Michigan teacher had been suspended with pay while they investigate a report he told his middle-school students that Bedouin Arabs used the Quran, the Muslim holy book, as toilet paper.
While I appauld the Bedouin Arabs for using the Quran as toilet paper, I don’t think this teacher should be telling his students this. It wasn’t a very smart decision, considering Dearborn, where he is employed, is home to about 30,000 towelheads. Did he really think he was going to get away with this in this day of politcal correctness? See my rant from yesterday about political correctness.
Now, let’s bring it a lot closer to home for me…. in the next county over from mine…. the ever-controversial Cobb County Georgia was ordered to remove stickers that call evolution “a theory, not a fact.”
Now that isn’t blantent Christianization of our schools and a violation of Constitution of the United States, I don’t know what is. The school’s textbook presents evolution as how we all got on this rock we call earth…. of course the super-chrisitians of Cobb County would like the biblical version of how we got here taught in addition, or better yet, instead of, evolution.
Let’s keep watch on our schools to see where else they try to sneak God in….
