Grocery Racecars?

I went to the local grocery store today to hurry in for just a couple of items to keep me fed until my next business trip.

While walking through the aisles, I nearly got run over by this soccer mom pushing a grocery cart with a plastic racecar body attached to the front of it. This thing is one and a half times the length of a normal shopping cart. The mom couldn’t even see around the corner where she nearly ran into me because the cart is so long. And of course her little precious brat in the front didn’t say anything like “Look out mom!”….

Who in the hell decided this was a good idea? As if kids aren’t spoiled enough, now we make special grocery carts for them? To me this looks like an injury just waiting to happen. I hope I get run over soon… I’ll sue the hell out of them.
