Weird recurring dream….
I keep having the most disturbing dream…. Over the past several weeks, I’ve had this dream about a dozen times… if anyone can tell me why, or what it means… I’d greatly appreciate it.
It starts out where I’m sitting in a restaurant, with my back to door, and there’s several friends with me…. when all of the sudden, there’s a shower of bullets and glass raining down on everyone. I hit the floor, grabbing the closest friend and pulling her down to the floor with me. At this point, it becomes apparent that the girl is Heather, someone I dated casually in my senior year in college. Next the attackers come into the restaurant, but instead of having guns, they have knives…
Suddenly, I’m running through the streets, dragging Heather along with me and being chased by the attackers. For some reason the whole attack is centered around me, they’re after me… and I’m running through streets, hiding in alleyways, doing whatever it takes to keep away from the attackers….
Now, the attackers are in cars… and they have guns again… Heather is no longer with me. I have to find her. I’m inside a building, and it’s dark and I’m trying to find Heather. The attackers are gone. I run into some of the nameless, faceless friends I was sitting at the table with… they’re still running from the attackers…. We hide together for a moment, then I leave them.
Suddenly, I’m back at the restaurant where it all started. Everyone is dead or dying… including the friends and Heather. I’m wandering around and the attackers come flying around the corner in their car… I hit the floor again expecting bullets but there’s none…. I crawl over to where my table was and my friends are and then I see one of the attackers… a nameless faceless person…. he comes in examining the carnage and wreckage…. I hide in the corner and make no attempt to escape. Then I am stabbed in the stomach by the man with the knife…. I’m not dead.
Now I’m running, but where, and from what? I don’t know. But I’m running. I’m also no longer stabbed. As soon as I realize that… POOF, I wake up.
So, what the hell is this about?
