You might be in Ohio when…

I’ve never enjoyed travelling to Ohio, it always seems like some desolate, depressed place. This time my travels brought me to Dayton… the armpit of America… There’s nothing positive to say about Dayton… my travel from the Dayton airport south on 75 to this customer’s site took me through downtown Dayton and what I assume are it’s suburbs… only thing I can say is all of Dayton is the ‘hood. Most of it reminds me of the rough parts of Atlanta….

There’s obviously nothing to do here in Ohio…. I was watching the news last night and I noticed that they spent most of the sports broadcast focused on high school basketball. They spent more time on that than the NFL playoffs. Let me mention that again…. they spent more time on HIGH SCHOOL basketball than they did the NFL playoffs!

I’ve talked to some of the employees at the customers site and quite a number of them are originally from Ohio and they all say the same thing… they can’t wait to get out of here.

I hate Ohio… What makes things worse that I’m stuck here over a weekend…. ugh.

At least it’s not indiana….

Gary Indiana is the most depressing place on earth. Ohio’s bad, but at least they let you drive drunk…. oh wait, I didn’t say that….
