Civilian Vigilantism Going Too Far?
Authorities probe into death of disruptive air traveler
Anyone hear about this? A man was on an American Airlines flight, probably a little drunk and got a little disruptive, demanding more beer and other passengers tackled him and killed him.
Now that’s going a little too far. This vigilantism has gone just a little too far. The man wasn’t making an attempt to storm the flight deck… he made no threats against the nation, or the lives of the passengers, or crew… So why? Why was this man taken down and murdered by other passengers?
I hope these people do get charged with murder and they are not allowed to get away with under the auspices of “counter-terrorism”… because that is another form of terrorism in its own right.

I hadn’t heard of that. However- there was an episode of CSI exactly like this. Did you see it?

No, I don’t watch CSI… although you think I would with all the other crime shows I do watch. I might have to start TiVoing it.

The idiots who killed this man will no doubt get off on the grounds of fear for their own safety. Personally I would hang the lot of them for panicking. Any sane and logical person would know that panic kills and not necessarily the one that is panicking! Morons like this shouldn’t be allowed on aircraft at all.
