You’re kidding, right? Christians are the loudest, largest, most influential group of politically active people in this country. Why should you get a publicly funded forum to express your beliefs? Should I get use pre-game time to denounce Jesus as a lazy, unemployed charlatan? You’re not talking about political freedom. You’re talking about using the apparatuses of the state to promote your religion: coercive prayer in public schools/games, legislative prayers, ID/Creationism in schools, national oaths that require declaring dedication to God, etc. How about humor the rest of us and try to stay on the side of religious freedom rather than the side of state religion. Why the persecution complex?
