I wanna be a rockstar…

This past weekend, I played Rock Band with some friends of mine and while I completely sucked at playing the drums, I was pretty good at playing guitar. It has renewed my interest in buying another game system. The last game system I bought was the original Playstation…. I haven’t bought a system since then. The question is should I?

Game systems have progressed so much over the years… I’ve never been a master at any one game system. So, it makes me wonder if I should invest the money in yet another system. I could use a massive amount of hotel points I’ve gained over the years and get an Xbox 360 Elite system for free… but then I’d lose out on a ton of free hotel room time that I can use on vacations and such. In fact, it would practically wipe out all the points I have.

Getting a system would give me something to do… I’m moving to a new town, where I know only a few people. I can imagine I’ll need something to do in my new-found spare time.

I’m just not sure which way I lean on this… Anyone have any thoughts?

I don’t think I’d use all those hotel points for that… all of those free nights would equate to quite a bit of money, I’m sure. Especially if you aren’t sure you’d even want to play it…. those game systems aren’t THAT expensive anyway… just my thoughts

Have you priced out the Xbox 360 Elite? It’s $450 at Wally World and on Amazon.com.
