Today I went to Subway for lunch and stood in-line behind this woman who paid for her sandwich and left the building. That’s not weird, that’s normal. What’s weird is, after I paid for mine and sat down, I happened to look outside in the parking lot and here was the same woman, sitting in her car eating her sandwich.
Why?
Why would someone want to sit outside in their completely enclosed car (doors closed and windows rolled up) and eat your lunch in the parking lot? There are plenty of perfectly good tables inside the nice, cool, air-conditioned store. I’m sitting at one, it’s clean and comfortable. So, I continued to eat my sandwich and read the paper, while keeping an eye on this strange woman to see what would cause her to want to eat in her car.
I thought maybe she was on her cell phone, waiting for someone, or had another good reason to sit in her hot car (it was 86 degrees today here). The only thing I saw her do was eat her sandwich and chips. After she was done, she started up her car and left… I find this behavior quite odd and can’t quite figure out why someone would do this… anyone have any ideas?

Paranoia, maybe a little lack of cofidence in Public Places.
People also have little quirks.
Just thought I would stop in for a visit at your blogsite to approve it but TGF beat me to this one.
Thanks for posting it.

I do that quite a bit on my lunch breaks from work. I like to get away from everything and everyone. Sometimes I like to have just peace and quiet.. or be alone and listen to the radio or something.
