Wha Yu Sa Ying?

A little break from the Obama-fest….

Getting Chinese characters tattooed on your body is a hot trend these days. But before you get your ink done, you should make sure that your tattoo artist knows what he’s doing and you know what the characters you’re getting tattooed on your body mean.

Some dumbass decided to get the Chinese characters that say “courage, strength and unity”, only he wound up with “he who loves men” and a dancing phallus.

This just goes to show that you shouldn’t have anything tattooed on your body that you aren’t willing to live with, even if it comes out wrong. It might also be wise to learn the language before you have it permanently marked on your body.

I’ve been considering getting the Chinese symbol for “love” as a tattoo. I’ve already checked with my Step-mom though..to make sure that was actually what the symbol meant… ha!

I have the Chinese symbol meaning female spirit/angel. It was verified by an old Chinese lady in the locker room of the gym. She didn’t speak English, but she made the curvey vertical hand movement (woman’s hips) and then pointed up to the air and made a flying motion.

But I still tell everyone it means moo-shoo-pork.

Here’s a funny prank along the same lines. http://www.zug.com/pranks/tattoo/ Lots of hilarious stuff on that site.
