A couple weeks ago, I was elated to hear that the someone (namely the LPGA) finally had the er… umm… balls to stand up in the face of political correctness and require that their members speak English well enough to get by in an interview. Not be fluent, mind you, but be able to speak enough English to understand and communicate with English speaking competitors, LPGA judges and officials, sponsors, and interview crews.

Now, amid much criticism, the LPGA seems to have lost their balls in the sand trap. I, for one, am extremely disappointed.

Why shouldn’t the LPGA have a rule in place that English is to be spoken? I have to be able to speak English to do my job. Why shouldn’t professional golfers have to speak English too?

It always pisses me off when people come to this country and expect to not have to speak English. Where is this acceptable anywhere else in the world? If I go to France, I fully expect to have to speak basic French to get by in that country. If I go to Korea, I fully expect to have to learn some basic Korean to get back in that country. Why wouldn’t you expect to have to learn some basic English to get by in America?

Oh, right… I forgot… because this country has no balls. The whiney, leftist, lazy, I want the Government to hand me everything on silver platter liberals, like State Sen. Leland Yee, a Democrat from San Francisco, has caused this country to have no cajones. Oops, I’m sorry, that’s Spanish for BALLS.

Legislators like Leland Yee cause people in America to think that they don’t have to actually WORK to accomplish anything in this country. Finally, when an organization finally stands up to say NO MORE, they whine and complain that it’s “discriminatory”.

I call BULLSHIT. It’s not discriminatory. You can LEARN English. It’s not difficult. It would be discriminatory if I said you had to be white and not Koren to play golf in the LPGA. There’s not a whole lot Koreans and people who aren’t white could do about that.

And finally people wonder why America has no jobs, and we aren’t the mighty country we once were? Hmm… I wonder. Why would anyone want to employ a bunch of “gotta give to me now” wusses?
