Barack Obama is a…

This picture has been circulating around the Internet this morning and it’s causing quite a buzz. Unfortunately, the original image at the Flickr site has been taken down, but I captured this image this morning so you can still see it.

Here are a couple of bright members of society, wearing hate speech on their chest. I am just appalled at the audacity of these people. Where did they get that it was okay to wear t-shirts bearing hate speech? Or maybe they are making a statement… maybe they are saying it’s okay to promote hate speech.

Jim Treacher actually received somewhat of an apology from the guy who originally posted the picture, but that doesn’t make up for the fact that these two rejects actually wore the shirt.

They were apparently at some sort of function in Philly, and they weren’t the only ones wearing the shirt. You can find more examples here and here (a photo without the blackouts and the email that accompanied it can be seen at Wake Up America).

What is completely disgusting is that the media hasn’t picked up on this. It’s bloggers who are spreading the word about this vile crap that Obamaists are spreading.

Let’s imagine what would happen if a group of McCain supporters wore t-shirts that said “BARACK OBAMA IS A STUPID NIGGER“. There’d be a race riot in towns across America and all the Dems would be crying RACISM.

So, I guess by these kids wearing these T-Shirts, that makes hate speech okay in this election. Either Palin supporters can cry SEXIST PIGS or I can start printing up those “BARACK OBAMA IS A STUPID NIGGER” T-shirts by the gross. If you don’t want your own Hate Speech T-Shirt, maybe you can just buy one of these.

Just as I was about to post this, I came across this… and I completely agree with this statement and will very likely do the same thing.

… This is surely small of me, but if Obama wins, I plan on giving him as much of a chance as the Democrats gave George Bush. I will gleefully forward every paranoid anti-Obama rumor that I see, along with YouTube footage of his verbal missteps. I will laugh and email heinous anti-Obama photoshop jobs, and maybe even learn photoshop myself to create some. I’ll buy anti-Obama books, and maybe even a “Not My President” t-shirt. I’m sure that the mainstream bookstores won’t carry them, but I’ll be on the lookout for anti-Obama calendars and stuff like that. I will not wish America harm, and if the country is hurt (economically, militarily, or diplomatically) I will truly mourn. But i will also take some solace that it occurred under Obama’s watch, and will find every reason to blame him personally and fan the flames…

Or maybe I’ll do my impression of a movie star and say “If Obama wins, I’m moving to Canada”…

I like the T-Shirt idea best.
