Comments:
I love getting comments (what blogger doesn’t?), but if you’re abusive towards me, or another commenter, your comment will probably go into the moderation queue. This means one thing: if I don’t like your comment, it gets shitcanned. Don’t like it? Then get your own fucking blog to write your thoughts. No, I’m not going to harass you at the email address you leave. I’ve got better things to do.
Any one who cries about “censorship” should go file a complaint with someone who gives a shit, because it IS my bandwidth. “Censorship!” screechers will be banned because I don’t like crybabies or morons.
Trackbacks:
I really do love seeing trackbacks and I encourage you to use them–I like to see what you’re writing about and I can’t read EVERY site on my blogroll every day.
That said, if you leave a trackback on my site, there had better be a link to my post in yours. I do not allow “free advertising” (which is what trackbacks really are, in case you didn’t realize it) or free link whoring–call me crazy but I do expect something in return–that being a link back. I’ll delete one-way trackbacks without warning, and “I didn’t know” isn’t really a good excuse. Sometimes, if I’m feeling energetic or generous, I’ll email you or leave a comment at your site to remind you, if you just forgot or whatever. Usually I’m just too lazy though.
Blogroll policy
If you want me to link to your site… ask! If your link changes… tell me!
I try to visit most of the blogs on my blogroll on a fairly regular basis, but I often get too busy to update my own blog, let alone read a ton of others…
All I ask is that if I’m linking to your blog, you link to mine, it’s only fair.
